City Hall is closed in observance of the following holidays (New 2016):
• New Year’s Day
• Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
• President’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Friday after Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday is considered a holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday is considered a holiday. Only police, fire and some park personnel receive regular work assignments on holidays.
